Restaurant and brewery set for Isle of Wight

As many as 60 new restaurant jobs could be created in the Ningwood region of the Isle of Wight, under new plans that will see a brewery, restaurant and mini-farm developed in the area.

According to the Isle of Wight County Press, proposals for this new scheme have already been lodged with bosses at council offices in the region.

Under the plans, the existing premises at the Westbrook Yard area will be demolished to make way for the new farm and brewing facilities.

Those ales produced at the site will then be sold at the newly-developed on-site restaurant.

An acre of the new site will also be set aside for growing hops, which will go toward alcohol production on the site.
