To mark the start of the Battersea Beer Festival tomorrow, search engine Bing is adopting a home page photo of the landmark power station in the borough.

“Bing is always looking for inventive and inspiring images to feature on the homepage, to encourage the British public to get out and do and see more,” saud a spokesperson for the site. “The Battersea Power Station image was chosen to coincide with the first day of the festival, and bring it to the attention of some 12.7 million people (the number of Britons who see the Bing home page each day) as they go about their daily search tasks.

The 23rd Battersea Beer Festival, organised by the South West London branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), runs from Wednesday, February 6, to Friday, February 9. Find out more at the festival website.
